I have a midi file that I want to listen to on my cell phone. I noticed that some instruments sound differently on different devices. So I would like to hear all the possible instruments on given device. How?
I prepared a set of midi files that play the same riff using all possible 128 instruments. The riff is repeated on four octaves. I prepared the files using a program that employs open source python midi library. The python script I used is attached too.
The files are organized in 16 groups of 8 instruments. Each instrument consumes 20 seconds.

Przedstawiam tu pliki midi, które odtwarzają jeden riff na 4 oktawach przy użyciu wszystkich możliwych instrumentów. Dzięki temu można posłuchać jak dane urządzenie odtwarza poszczególne instrumenty. Pozwala to wybrać odpowiedni instrument przy tworzeniu swoich plików midi.
